Becoming an Artisan

Elizabeth’s passion for beadwork began at a young age, inspired by her grandmother who taught her the craft after the passing of her mother when she was just 9 years old. This early start has led to over 50 years of experience in creating intricate beaded handicrafts, a skill that has become a core part of her life and identity.

Dreams, Goals, and Plans

Elizabeth dreams of expanding her business by selling her unique beaded handicrafts to international markets. She envisions sharing her love for South African culture and craftsmanship with people around the world, highlighting the beauty and artistry of her homeland through her work.

Family Story

Family is central to Elizabeth’s journey as an artisan. She and her husband Vince run a family business focused on creating and selling handicrafts. Her two children have followed in her footsteps and are also involved in beadwork, keeping the family tradition alive through their creativity and dedication.
